What is this called (turn sig/steering column part)?

This came pre-broken from the PO of my '72 Cheyenne. Thanks, dude.

Anyway, I picked up a new cam, but the pot metal part that the screw screws into is broken. What is it called, & were they used in most GM truck columns?

This holds the blinker lever in place, BTW.

That is part of the turn signal switch. You will have to buy a whole new switch. Parts for it are not available.

Another pic of the broken pot metal part in the new cam, to show its location.

I think I just saw one of those out in the shop yesterday. Let me look in the morning and see if I can find it....

Thank you for checking. I'll have to check the junk yard for one.

You can buy just the turn signal switch cam, but don't know if that metal part comes with it.
