fleetside tailgate handle
Does anybody know if the reproduction tailgate handles are any good? Or should I look for an original?

Get a good original the repop that came with my truck would not work with my original tailgate.

The repop I just got in from counterpart is garbage.

Project 67 short step Build Thread 01 Sierra Crew 6.0 2015 Ford F150 Work gave me truck i really wouldn't buy a ford. |

Highly recommend getting an original handle. I tried two different repop handles, neither would work with my original gate.

I used a repop handle with a reproduction tail gate. It worked ok with some adjusting. However, it had real issues clearing the upper chrome bezel. Wouldn't have been an issue without the aluminum trim.
It appears you made your choice an found an original. Love this board for that exact reason. Cheers |
