Truck wont start

it has 350\350 its a 1986 Silverado swb half ton. two wheel drive. I drove it around my yard, and parked it, went to start it right back up, and no luck, it wont turn over or anything. no clicks.. nothing. I tried to jump it, still nothing. My lights work, No radio!? So I was thinking it was a fusible link? Does an 86
Chevy have these ? If so, where are they? or is my problem more serious?

Re: Truck wont start

have you tried jumping the starter to make sure it isnt the problem? just tap the two terminals on the starter with a screwdriver and make sure it engages.
