Re: Project "cheapskate 65"

NICE WORK!!! Not sure if I missed it, but could you tell me what headers your running?

It looks like they have a heddman tag on it (?) Just curiuos since they look like they would clear my factory clutch rod and still give me the clearance Im looking for.

I appreciate it!

They are Heddmans and If i remember correctly they were for a Jeep SBC conversion. I bought them through Summit. Wish i could remember the part #. Found part #***( Part # 69640)**** I did have clearance the tops of the frame rails to suit my needs. Also,Those headers are for angle plugs so i don't know if they would work in your application or not.

I love this truck! You have talent! Is the front drum? I noticed no brake booster? Also what year mustang tank? That looks like a nice fit.

Thanks for the compliments! I see your from California. I was just left from there!! To answer your questions.... Front brakes are disc with a manual M/C. My engine produces little to no vacuum and i didn't want to run a vacuum pump. Gas tank was from a 65 Mustang. Had to move the rear frame rails out to make it fit but it worked out well for my situation.

Re: Project "cheapskate 65"

Had someone request me to post pics about hood hinges I modified for this truck. It the best ones I could find and if you zoom in you can see better detail.
