Aftermarket inner fenders for air bags

I know of and have seen pictures of many different styles of aftermarket inner fenders for bagged trucks, they all look like they keep dirt, water, dust etc. out of the engine bay but my question is do they also keep that from the fender? Once you cut out the required metal from the front fenders for tire clearance and then ditch the factory inner fenders wouldn't that then allow dirt and water to fling up into the seams of the fenders? I need some inner fenders but I can't seem to find any pictures of how they seal off the fenders themselves. Anyone know?

If you look at these from Slosh Tubz, which are fiberglass, they will keep dirt and other stuff out of the outer fender. Also they have other styles besides the one I'm posting.

I am familiar with those and also stonerspeed as well. Question I have about the fiberglass is how durable is it? Will it hold up to a daily driven truck?

I wanted to try these....they look really nice but seems they would interfere with my battery tray so I didn't try them.

Re: Aftermarket inner fenders for air bags

I have the Stoner Speed versions (was Hills Hot Rod's & Customs when I purchased). Most guys that are driving a truck low enough to require this type of inner fender isn't intentionally driving them in the rain so there's no real concern on dirtying up the inside of the fender.

Re: Aftermarket inner fenders for air bags

I like the Vannatta stuff. I've ordered from him before, good company, nice guy, have nothing at all bad to say. I don't think they solve the dirt and water in the fender issues though. Unless you install them over the factory inners like he does show on his site, but then you don't have the tire clearance.

I also understand most guys don't drive their trucks in the rain, but I do. Guess I'll try Frizzles method or something like it. Thanks guys!
