I've never seen this thread before; no wonder the '65 isn't done!! At least I'm not the only one jumping back and forth.
Any suggestions on how to adjust it? Maybe it will clear up some if I drive it some. I drove it back and forth in the drive way and seemed to get a little better.

Yes, I'm spread thin.

Can't wait to see it running down the road..
I might try to fatten up the fuel/air mixture and see if that will help a little.

The sad thing is I just rebuilt the carb. The accelerator pump rubber seemed kind of hard.

I did was it yesterday. Pretty bad when you need a tetnus shot just to was a truck. At least I can see thru all the glass now.

It is forsale here in the forsale section here and I also listed it on CL.

Re: Look what I found

I know you have messed with the timeing And you said you also put new points in it. What i was wondering is do you have to set the dwell on the points for this eng. I know i have to check mine on the newer v-8 thats in my 66 (it likes to eat points even with a balest on it) every once in a while because the plastic point wears down. Just a thought and i could be way off not knowing the in's and out's of a motor that old. Hope it clears up for you.

I wish it had provisions to set the dwell. I used to adjust the dwell on my 69. This setup doesn't have the adjusting screw. I wish it did. Thanks for the idea tho.

If your talking about the mudders, I can't remember I traded them to "Old School Kid" 2 years ago, he might remember.

Would these wheels be worth anything to anyone or they just junk?

Took the gas tank out and the aftermarket bed floor.

Nice flow thru bed floor.

I picked up a good used OE tank shortly after I got the truck. I plan on getting it in and plumbed with new line.

What happened to this gas tank? do you still have it? or the parts numbers where I could get a simalar? Thanks.

And the winner is #4, #13 or your truck. I think you have a good chance I hope you win. Maybe you could go out and kick some more dents in it.

Re: Look what I found

Looks like it has been sold. The guy has paid me more than half of the balance. He should have the rest in a couple weeks. Yes, I still have the truck here. I'll see if I can get him on the forum.
