17" Rallys Tire size selection and pictures?

Hello,

I'm getting ready to purchase 17x8 rallys for the front and 17x9 rallys for the rear from Wheel Vintiques for a my 70 C10 shortbed. I'm trying to select a good size tire? The truck is currently lowered 4" in front and approx. 6" in the rear. I'm going to eventually put 2.5" drop spindles and c-notch the rear. Anybody have some pictures or ideas on what size tires to run with out having to cut anything out or have clearance issues?

Thanks!

Re: 17" Rallys Tire size selection and pictures?

That's the exact same wheels I'm looking at. I am planning on running 255/60/17's in the front (29" tall) and 275/60/17's rear (30" tall) with a 4/5 drop. I don't expect to have any clearence issues at that drop, but lower than that maybe. I would think that the rears would fit easily because of the backspacing, and the fronts probably because i've seen larger on 4" backspacing and they fit. I don't know yet since my truck right now is a cab on a frame and not quite ready to bolt on wheels yet! Any pics of what you wind up with would be appreciated since I'm looking at the same thing.
