Gonna have to coin a new phrase: "Three Weeks".
Holding out on us, I see I have seen the sneak previews on 'other' sites, but none here yet. Ready for some updates, pics, and questions answered, so I can decide if we should start the three week countdown...

Re: Dropmembered trucks

hey DM Guys...Ive got a quick question...Im going to look at a donor truck that has a PB Dropmember and A-arms on it tonight. My question is that i see people have different versions of dropmembers (like version 3.2 for example) What are the differences between these models and is there anything i should look out for when checking this truck out? Ive never actually seen a dropmember in person before and i dont want to go into it blind.

any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

The newest version (3.2) is the round tube set-up. The other two designs are plate. Only differences between them are the way that the lower control arms attach, and motor mount tabs.

The 3.2 also has a truss system (ties the inner frame supports, motor mounts, and main crossmember assembly together for additional rigidity).

When you get there, feel free to shoot me a call or a text and I can let you know what generation it is.

Re: Dropmembered trucks

Thanks for the response nate. So all geometry is identical between all versions, Its just asthetic improvements between versions? From the cell phone pics i saw, it looked to be a 3.2 with tube setup. Are there any differences in your arms(versions) or any designators to tell me what version they are?

thanks again

There had been a couple minor tweaks to geometry over the years... not due to any concerns or issues... but mainly my inability to leave anything alone!

The only variations on the arms that could exist would be length. We have a standard length option (same as factory) and a one-inch narrowed length option that would be compatible with the Dropmember.

Re: Dropmembered trucks

So it would be safe to assume that if these arms are mated with your DM that they are the narrowed arms? I hope so because thats what i want. I think I need to see this thing and give you a call. I really appreciate all your help with my questions.

Either one could be bolted to the Dropmember. The Dropmember already narrows the track width, the arms just narrow it more. The one in my avatar is the 3.2.

The DM narrows the track nearly an inch and a half per side all by itself.

Just shoot me a text later when you go check it out.

I have looked at Boss 304s (not fond of anything else from them at this point). I don't mind taking the hub metal down if needed.

Thanks in advance.

$400 a wheel, should have all sorts of options. I am looking at spending $400 for the SET.
