Re: 17.5 vs 19.5

Cool. We need a 15" and 16" in there to show the whole range.
After getting used to the big 19.5's on my Custom Camper, the little 15's on my Suburban look almost like it's riding on just brake drums.

The 17.5 looks like a space saver.

15" with 750 x 15 tire vs 16" with 750 x 16 tire. I should have measured the height. Will check Monday

Re: 17.5 vs 19.5

19.5 circumference is 8'10-3/4" 17.5 circumference is 8'1-3/8.... so each revolution of the 19.5s is about 10% more travel then the 17.5s as soon as cru_zn gets the size on the 15s and 16s ill let you know what kind of over-drive you get with 19.5s VS 15s

Re: 17.5 vs 19.5

I must admit, I like the 19.5 tires better...In my opinion I like the fender space filled...my '64 came with stock split rim 16's....bias tire of course.....If anyone is interested I can post a picture and get the diameter. T.J.

Looks much better with good paint, just needs some detailing work. IMO, this truck would look better with orange wheels ( the way the factory would have painted them for tu tone paint jobs ) and red paint in center of hubcap so the bowtie is more visible. If you take this truck to the next level, stretch the frame to accept a full 8' bed.

Re: 17.5 vs 19.5

15" at 28.5" tall VS 19.5" at 34" tall ....the 19.5s give you about 20% overdrive over 15s
