Re: Let’s see where the wind blows me
I started to write a too long post about Newsom and probably too much about Jenner (who Im fine with btw), but that's political and a bunch of other stuff LOL!

Road trip! I want to go too. Not sure where Nantasket Beach is but it sounds like a groovy place.

Re: Let’s see where the wind blows me
Jenner should write an autobiography or make a movie. How about this for the title?

Re: Let’s see where the wind blows me
Something I never considered about those old ambulances until just now, is the lack of privacy for the patient. That’s a bad ride if you have to get stripped down for any reason Also the apparent lack of AC, I bet that made for some fun trying to keep someone alive in the heat of the summer.

No a/c Probably because it was a northern state And I posted those heater hoses Going to the rear, under the hood (I’ve never seen that before) If you look at the picture closely He told me the stretcher to the right Can hang from those hooks on the ceiling Just in case they had more than one patient |

Re: Let’s see where the wind blows me
Interesting, I saw those hooks and was thinking Iv bag or similar. Never thought about the stretcher hanging from it. Those heater hoses are pretty interesting as well. I’ve never seen an ambulance of this vintage in that condition, seemingly still ready to go to work. Very cool.

Re: Let’s see where the wind blows me
I like that blue bull hide the coach company used. Looks like a good match!
It looks like they stripped 'Rusty Bucky' to bare metal and walked away

Re: Let’s see where the wind blows me
We had 2 of those in the PD when I first got on the job in 86 . I could have bought them cheap when they auctioned them off in 94 . Think $300 or there abouts .
