'86 K30 Lift Removed

Most like the way the truck looked and sat. Well, i did too but my body says different. I did 8 years in the Marines and 4 combat Tours. My knees are worn out, hardest part wasnt getting in it was the jar on them getting out. Also, the bigger bias tires took its toll on the front end. All the tie rods and draglink had slop and would cause death wobble. I removed the 2.5" procomp front leaf springs and rear 3" blocks. I added Stanley Spring HD 4 leaf front springs with ORD HD greaseable shackles. The HD 4 leaf springs and HD shackles raise the front end up 1" over stock. I added an ORD zero rate block to the rear and the stance is perfect for me. I also sold the power king 9.00x16 tires, lift kit and dropped of the steel wheels to be powdercoated. For now im running Firestone Transforce A/T 265/75r16s. My intended use is not mud trucks, but farm trucks. I use these to pull flatbed goosenecks loaded with equipment or gooseneck cattle trailers. The black k30 with the lift and 9.00x16 tires just didnt pull like it should. I fixed that.

Looks good. Those style wheels always make me think of a 90s Ford though.

I like it both ways.
But that red one - you don't need that one, do you? You could drop that off at my house next week, right? Seriously, that's a beauty.
