Post One piece windows

Has anyone done a one piece window kit and have any pictures of it. I am thinking of doing it to my 83. Also I cant seem to find any web site right now that sells it.

69custom,

At the time no one makes a one piece window. They do make them for the 67-72 trucks. They have flat windows. Our trucks have curved glass. I read of a company trying to make a one piece kit but it never developed. Unless you make your own or "board" up the small window your out of luck. I would like some too.

I've heard of a slick power mirror setup that replaces the vent window on the 73-87 trucks. I freind of mine claims he saw them on a truck somewhere.

The big deal with curved glass isn't that it is hard to make, expecailly if you are making about 1,000,000 of them a year like the '88-98's. If you are wanting 2, the price would be tremendous, like thousands of dollars. Plus, you might want to patent it just in case some one else might want "borrow" you template you originally made since the second one is always cheaper as is the next and the next and the........ You get the idea. So you have the cost of the glass, plus the patent = MEGA$$$$
