Help if you can please

Hi all. Might be a long shot but trying to track down a picture i saw some time back. I'm thinking it might have been in a front suspension swap discussion.....it was a 55-59 truck, maybe blue or black, in the project build phase and probably located in AUSTRALIA OR NEW ZEALAND due to the donor parts being used. It had HOLDEN ADVENTRA AWD front suspension grafted in. I never saved the image or bookmarked the site it was on. Can anyone share if they've seen it please?

Go up to the top and click search...then click advanced search...type In (HOLDEN ADVENTRA)..
It brings up several pages where that was mentioned...maybe one of them will jog your memory

Thanks Greg. I spent a couple of hours yesterday doing that with many different search terms, to no avail, so thought i'd ask the group in case they had.

Re: Help if you can please

From what I am finding those rigs have a strut front suspension that isn't a viable swap on a Task force truck. It would have to have fabricated shock/strut towers to work.

I'd have to ask what you are attempting to accomplish. Independent suspension swap? 4 wheel drive independent suspension swap? Or ???

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Help if you can please

Have you seen this 67-72 truck swap? The truck is green and primer gray. The frame rails are black.

The picture I'm chasing is of a 59?? that had strut towers fabricated already and the suspension mounted in truck but was still in the build. I'm hoping to achieve lower ride height and AWD from locally sourced cars for on road use. Rear subframe is IRS. Not interested in lifted/4x4 type set up. See links below....

Hi there, thank you. I haven't seen that thread before, but have seen trailblazer frame swaps done. Very interesting and tempting but the road laws and modification rules here in Australia rule out trailblazer frame swap for me. Also, not being sold here, means there is no spare parts available
