Still working on this too. I did grind off a bit on the plate but looking at my doors, it looks as if the whole door could come up a bit as the belt Lin’s dont match the front or back. Problem is that the door is perfect on the bottom where it meets the cab. Guess I can sacrifice that perfect fit to try to get a better beltline fit and latches that work

I don't see any screw heads on your door panel, how is it attached?

Thanks! it's installed w/ push pins. In the first pic you can see some holes drilled in the door. The material on the panel covers the head of the push pin. Kinda like these.....

Nice, similar to the pins the factory uses in newer vehicles.
