Yea I didn't buy any of the fans, I don't think anyway. Come to think of it I think maybe I did for the 56 when I ordered it.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: $155.00 Radiator

I snagged one last night with fans because of this thread. Pretty far out from being ready to install, but I'll have it when I get there.

I've never used the radiator heater connection on them. I always run it to the intake. I have no idea what size it is. All I've ever done is make sure it's tight.

Re: $155.00 Radiator

Got mine in and installed it over the weekend. Sorry, no pics. Mine is about an 1/8" short of fitting. I figure its because the rubber in the brackets are worn. Just gonna cut pieces off the old hoses to take up the slack until I replace the rubber. It looks pretty damn good in there I must say

Re: $155.00 Radiator

Now that I've had this setup installed for awhile and have drove the truck a few times, I can provide an update.

Just an FYI for anyone considering buying this radiator with the dual fans - the fans are advertised as 1,200 CFM each but they don't come close to that. I've driven my truck a few times since installing and they're never capable of keeping my LS below 200 with both running half speed, the coolant always heats up to 205 or higher and triggers the PCM to run both fans full speed. This is in 60 degree or lower weather, no AC. I found the fans on Amazon for $20 each and they're sold by a company called UPGR8. They're advertised as 1,200 CFM each and pulling 80W. I've been looking at Spal fans rated at 1,200 CFM and they pull 160W which confirms my suspicion. I even found a review on Amazon for one of the Spal fans I'm looking at which references these cheap fans and how much of an upgrade the Spal fans were. The wires to the fans are no bigger than 18 gage whereas Spal is 12.

The radiator itself is still great, no leaks. Just want everyone to be aware of how cheap and low performance the fans are. I didn't have high expectations of them from the beginning, but a radiator with dual fan aluminum shroud for $200 is still a good deal to me.

This is why I don't buy the fans. They are cheap knock off's.
