Re: Lets see some square body sterio set ups

This install is 2 years old in my 87. Never got around to covering it though. The amps are Rockford Fosgate p6002 bridged to the sub and a RF p5002 for the separates. The sub is getting 600 watts and the others are getting 125 watts per channel.

The sub is a JL 13tw5.

These kick panels are pretty rough now. I plan on redoing them this winter.

The head unit is installed in the dash. My build thread has more dash pics. It is still rough, but coming along.

Re: Lets see some square body sterio set ups

2 4" and 1 4x10" under dash
2 6.5" in console
sub box w/2 10" subs runs entire back of cab but is notched for the seats to sit all the way back.
2 sets of tweaters in the sub box
3 amps hidden inside the center console along with 2 caps.
sorry i dont have any better pictures at the moment cause i gutted the system to rebuild lol.

Re: Lets see some square body sterio set ups

i built this sytem back in early 90's for my 81 Lemans
barely had it in the truck and it was written off
didn't actually take any pics till i started taking it out
and still have it...
I actually cut out the tweeters from the 4X10 and made little boxes to stage them better

Re: Lets see some square body sterio set ups

Best mod I could make for my stock radio Sounds sweet too.

Real story is I plan on making a moulded panel for behind the seat to include the radio head unit, a 10" sub and a pair of 6x9s. Amp under the seat and a pair of modular speakers under the seat. Once I recover from funding the tree maintenance guys living. $1500 for him yesterday alone and he's not done. My house has a serious up keep addiction too.
