Re: VO910THP Pad # ?

Quick search shows:

THP 1971 307 conv. cab, m/t 200hp 2bbl C-20 to 3500

Looks like a good start... Does not seem out of line for a 1970 or 1971 date cast on the small block.

V 0910: Flint, Mi September 10

THP: 71 307 Truck 200hp manual trans, L14 RPO, 1 2bbl carb C20/C30 application
Looks like GM may have reused this code later on too according to my suffix code book but The Lime Book doesn't list THP for anything but the '71 307.

Re: VO910THP Pad # ?

Thanks so much guy’s ! Looks like I have the original engine in my 71 C/20 , 307, 2 brl, stick , conventional cab. The little 307 still has its engine lift brackets in place.

1985 350 block would have the dipstick on the passenger side.

Re: VO910THP Pad # ?

Thanks Gary, the dipstick is on drivers side. The engine has no extra accessories on it so working on it’s actually enjoyable..thanks for your help again..Jack
