I'm finally about to get my truck! I just gotta sell my car first (anybody want a LS1 Trans Am 'vert?

), but I hope that won't take long. Anyway, it's a '69 C10 short-step. I plan on painting it satin black with some whiewalls, kind of like a traditional hotrod. The 350 in it had been rebuilt about 6 years ago and it's only been started twice! I'm ditching the current carb & intake because I've got a Street Dominator intake and a 670cfm Street Avenger carb sitting in the shop. I've decided on a Lunati Voodoo 256 cam and if the funds allow it... bags! I've also found a full PS, disc, 5-lug setup dirt cheap. This is going to be my DD until I get my Bimmer going, but after that, just a cruiser and to pull motorcycles around. BTW, the body is super-straight except for the rust at the top of the firewall. Tell me what you think!

nice... keep the TA, LS1's are good... and after you pay it off stick the LS1 in the truck

Thats an awesome start for a project. It wouldn't take much at all to put it on the road. Whats up the swirly drivers window? White walls would look good but 20's and 22's fit so nice..... Satin black, some red flame pinstripes, sport bumpers, polished 20's, oh that'd be sweet!!!! I really dig the seat too. Maybe ditch the sliding rear window.

The TA is payed off, but being a full-time student, cash is an issue. That's not the only reason though, I'm trying to start a business with the money too. An LS engine would be sweet though. I'm hoping I can have it running & driving within a weekend. Oh, and the window I just blurred because the guy's number was on it. And I know what you mean on the wheels, a friend of mine has a '67 SWB Fleetside on 20s & 22s and it looks killer. I really like the Wheel Vintiques 17" smoothies, but they're a little pricy for my budget. The seat & matching door panels were done sometime when the engine was built and I think it'll look killer with the satin black, but what do the sport bumpers look like? He's giving me the grill, a painted front bumper, and a rear bumper that looks to be made of C-channel.

Looks like a good starter. Dropped some with whitewalls, trim rings and moons and satin black will look great. That interior will look good too.
You might want to slowly drag it out from under that carport. It looks like it could fall down on the truck at any time.
