Brave or crazy? crewcab build

Like the title says not sure if im brave or crazy. I'm in the middle of a 68 shortbed build when I started looking on this very website and came across
the young frankenstein build and could not stop thinking about it. So long story short I go out and buy a running driving 1970 suburban from a buddy and less than 5 days of ownership its a convertible. My plan is to use most of the parts from my current build and use it on the crewcab then sell off extra stuff like cab and frame. It sucks to part out one project for another but i dont have the time or the budget for two trucks. Anyway this will be a factoryish looking crewcab
with round back doors, truck roofline and stock length shortbed. i'm not the best at this build thread thing so i apologize in advance.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

It took me about 4 hours,6 sazall blades and 2 cut off wheels to completely ruin a perfectly good suburban.

You AZ guys are so lucky. You can work outside without having to worry about your project turning into a pile of rust. Subscribed!

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

This is the back of cab i got from a buddy its in nice shape but was pretty rusty at rear cab supports and cab corners. But I don't need the cab supports and cab corners are easy to replace. I cut out everthing i didn't need so all i had left was the back wall of cab. I plan on using the suburban floor to try and keep things easy.
