Nice Used Door Locks With 2 Keys

-
I have 4 pairs of nice original used door locks with 2 keys each. They all look like the ones pictured. I have cleaned & lubed these and checked them out to make sure they work smooth. No ignition cylinders come with these & you will have to use your existing pawls & clips.

$15 per set plus $4 postage.

PayPal or Money Order works for me.....

Per board rules post in thread before sending PM's.

Thanks,
LockDoc

Re: Nice Used Door Locks With 2 Keys

Do you have any more of these and how difficult are these to replace. Just bought a 69 C10 and the ignition key does not work in the door lock.
Thanks

Yes, I do have a couple of these sets left.

Did you spray any penetrating oil into the door lock cylinders before trying the key? If the ignition cylinder has been changed and the original lock cylinders are still in the doors that would explain it. Usually the hardest part is getting the screws out of the bottom of the door panels. They are usually rusted in. The lock cylinders are secured in the door by slide on clips. I suggest spraying a little penetrating oil on the clips before trying to remove them.

Remove the passenger side lock Cylinder first and see if there is a code number stamped into the side of it. It would be on the order of the one in the picture below. If there is a code number on it I can cut a key from that.

I will go ahead and send you the payment info in case there is no code number on the cylinder.

Thanks,
LockDoc

If you are replacing a set already in the doors you will just use all of the pieces from those locks. Be sure and keep the right and left separate because the lock pawls are different.
