What’s this sound? Heater A/C related

https://twitter.com/biggmoe/status/1...923069955?s=21https://twitter.com/biggmoe/status/1441587117923069955?s=21

1996 Tahoe just started making this sound this morning. It’s coming from the passenger side under dash area. I posted a video on the link above. Initially thought it could be a blend door actuator, but it’s so loud.

Probably a heater vent door actuator (or whatever it is called) thing. Check this thread.

I've heard odd noises coming from that area before in my '95. Not that loud or as repetitive or rapid. I figured it was some issue with a flapper actuator. I never figured it out. I don't think I've heard it in a while but this thread made me think of it.

Sounds like the blend door actuator on my Impala when it failed.
The plastic gears strip out and then it sits there and clatters.
