Do you have any pics with a bed on the frame with one of these kits installed?

Thanks!

Re: Porterbuilt Stage II "Mild Drop Kit" for 63-72C10

It's a stepside but it has the Stage II kit front and rear......it should give you an ideal where it should sit. I should also mention that I don't have the bump stops in the rear.
I'm very happy with this kit and it rides GREAT!
Wheels and tires on the rear are 22x9 with 265/40/22

Thats EXACTLY what I want for my '85, but I'm gonna run a different set-up up front. Hopefully I can get the same stance from it.

Nothing in the works for a leaf set-up.... why not switch to trailing arms?

We also make an "Economy Version". http://porterbuiltstreetrods.com/sit...y-version-699/

It sets just as low, but allows the use of factory trailing arms and factory trailing arm x-member.

We will also be offering a similar stage 2 set-up for the squares as well. Most likely end of the year before it's available.

Best news I've had all weekend.

How would this set-up perform at the track? I plan to auto-x the truck a little and have been thinking about a trailing arm set-up after seeing it on MBRP's 'Colorado Speed' project truck.

Hi, Nate
I am just thinking out loud here with this question, I still have a lot to learn about suspensions I am referring to how the rear lower shocks mount to that bar that is bolted to both trailing arms. If I didn't want to run that bar is there another option for the lower shock mount? Maybe something welded to the trailing arm or rearend?

Thanks Nate

No worries... just needed some clarification.

If you are not interested in the "shock bar" relocation system, one could always fabricate another mounting point off the lower arm, and dp something different up top as well. The relocation system in the kit sets the shocks at an angle that actually allows them to be efficient. What are your thoughts/concerns about the current configuration?

To me it's just another moving part that can potentially rattle, wear, or come loose, etc So that is the optimum location, angle, length etc for the shock with that design So by moving the shock closer to the frame it will be sacrificing performance

Hey thanks
