Turbo help

New to turbos. Running a Borg Warner Airwerks S475 T6. Ordered an oil feed flange and this thing has a pin hole in it. Not sure if I need to drill it out or leave it alone?

Re: Turbo help

some turbos need the small hole like that or they get too much oil and will push it thru the seals. not sure if thats correct for your turbo though. they use the s475 on diesels alot and don't use a restrictor like that.

Re: Turbo help

^^^what he said, too much will flood the seals. Call the manufacturer to confirm hole diameter. Personally the hole looks too small to me, but....

Re: Turbo help

Thanks. Was able to find some info on their website in the Q&A section. They recommend - 4an fitting with no restriction. Will have to drill it out.
