Need more info than that to help you pick the proper stall.

1) Is it a sb or bb chevy?
2) whats the weight of the truck?
3) whats the rest of the engines combo like carb, heads, headers, compression, etc?
4) what kind of trans/ rear end gears are you running?

Cam duration and lobe separation? Each cam has a recommended stall.

With those specs, I would guess fuel mileage is not a priority. A quality 3500 rpm stall converter would be a good starting point for this combination.

What are you planning to use the truck for? Race,Street/Strip,Daily driver... Do you have anyway of finding out the cam specs? You really need the duration and the LSA to make a reasonable choice for a converter. I'm just guessing, but based on the intake, compression, and the fact that it's a solid you've got a real hot street machine or bracket racer in the works.

I'd call up a company, that way if its wrong, you have an argument to get your money back.

I have a .500 lift I believe, on a high compression 350. I talked to a guy that said 3500 to 3800 rpm stall. I'll probably look or one around 4000 stall, just to be on the safe side. If your driving it on the street though with that high of a stall, make sure you have a good tranny cooler.

With that much stall you'll need some low gears to go w/it.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

3500 RPM stall is pretty rough in a street machine. I hope you don't plan to drive around town much. You should check to see if it will interfere with highway cruising too.

Well with a big block you should have a good bit of torque to get off the line and it will help the converter stall a little more than normal.

I would use around a 3,000-3,500 stall if it was on the street with the 4.11 gears.

If its a race/bracket style I would go up to about a 3,500-4,000 stall.

BTW dont get a cheap converter!!!!
also get a good trans cooler with a fan on it to be safe.
