You never know.

I have too many projects. Currently 5 at the moment. I decided that something had to go. My 1950 Packard mainly because it's the most challenging one in the bunch to restore.

I wrote up an ad and was ready to put it online.

And then the strangest thing happened. I told my wife that I was going to sell it and why and she said no. No way. Keep it.

I told her that I didn't know when I could get to it. She said no problem. It's fine just where it is. If you get to it you do. If you don't you don't.

I never saw that one coming. I thought that she would be happy to see it go but it turns out not to be the case. So the Packard stays.

You never know.

Re: You never know.

Maybe the hidden message there is to change the project status of the Packard to "Start on now."

Man up. Don't let her tell you what to do! If you let her get away with telling you to keep it, next thing you know she'll be telling you what to sell! Believe me. I know women. That's why I'm single. (or is it I'm single because I don't understand them? )

She's not so cool if I don't take out the trash or leave a mess. I hear about that. Trust me on that one. Boy do I hear it then.

Just yesterday I had a conversation with the gal I'm doing work for. She was saying how wrong guys are to think women are interested in vehicles at all. How guys are off track thinking buying a certain vehicle will be a chick magnet. Well, that can be true. You'll need more than that. But, I told her I think the truth in that thinking is that women have their 'type' they are attracted to, and some are attracted to our kind of guy being into vehicles and/or mechanical things. So a guy being seen driving a certain vehicle or type of vehicle can show a woman he is that type of guy. Whether anything real comes out of meeting depends on more than that.

My x-wife let me know, before the 'x', that my interest in the old vehicles is one thing that she loved about me. When we met was right after the accident I had in my '69 Power Wagon. so my chick magnet was a barn find '55 1st Design Chevy pickup . She never once complained about all my stuff and I didn't need her permission to buy another

I would enjoy a visit with you, here or there I'm sure. Hopefully some day. We are both into staying healthy. My mental health needs me to find humor. You know they say laughter is healthy. So is finding the humor in things.
