Cage outriggers or cab mounts or both?

Need advice, please.

Have a Chevy 56 that will be used for autocross. It will have a cage but won't need to pass NHRA standards.

I am building a new chassis. The old chassis had cab mounts and separate outriggers for the cage to the chassis. They were very close together and it seemed redundant. Was thinking about moving the cab mounts to the outriggers as well. Is this a good idea and how would you do it? Was not sure about using cab spacers either.

Hope this all makes sense. Opinions, please?

Thanks in advance
