Wiper blade refills

I’m not sure about other locations but in the Phoenix area if vehicle is parked outside wiper blades dry rot in 1-2 years.

Was looking up wiper blade refills and saw some that are just the rubber blade, and pretty low priced, anyone ever tried these vs just getting new wiper arms with blades?

If so any recommendations?

Something kind of like this.. https://www.amazon.com/Windshield-Re...55226797&psc=1

Re: Wiper blade refills

You used to only be able to get refills, now you have to order them. I didn't want to replace my stainless steel wiper heads with junk painted steel.

I made a tutorial somewhere on here on how to buy complete black wipers and take the rubber part from them to use on the stainless ones.

I've done that, but you have to make sure the width is correct because some are fatter than others.

I dont know, I think the stainless set sold at the truck shop are cheaper than the new styles sold at the parts dealers nowadays. Getting ridiculous.
