Hi everyone, Oil pan is on (still need to take a pic) Got sorta hung up on problems with my head (the engines head) (although I'm sure mine is questionable sometimes )
The head is currently at the machine shop getting re-surfaced.
Other than the head there is not to much left I have to do before stuffing the engine back in the truck, just a few small things.

One thing I'm not sure about is painting as the weather is kinda cold for that now. I wish I would have got that done back in summer but I guess I'll figure something out.

Well, getting back on this full steam again.
Actually been working on it but just have not been posting anything.
My main goal right now is to just get the truck running, driving and back on the road.
Body work and all that will be coming along later.
Just getting the truck back on the road is going to be a big accomplishment for me as it has been my dream for many years now.

So starting off...
Brakes are gonna need complete overhaul... Mainly the master cylinder.
I was gonna rebuild it but sorta changed my mind after closer inspection

Head installed and date on one of the trucks original motor mount brackets.

Things starting to get a bit more pretty.
Not the best paint job but good enough for a truck that'll be put to work.
I won't be running this valve cover as someone else tightened a couple bolts down to tight without the proper washers and cracked it.

Got the engine in the truck.
Everything should be smooth from here right?
