Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!

I am in the process of modernizing a 61 pickup. Will be replacing all drive train, suspension, brakes, steering. It is a 6 cyl, three speed, no frills truck. It has low mileage (about 62k)

Has an under dash A/C that works.

At this point, I have not done much disassembly so no pictures but if you want to see it run/drive it is still intact for now. I would much prefer someone take entire power train and not sell off individual pieces.

I am in San Antonio TX, I will not ship.

Are you trying to find a home for the underdash AC?
If so, I'm interested.

Pictures of the cool pack components would be interesting to see. Condensor and dryer the same as the 62-63 version? Been looking for years. Drove by San Antonio last month. 64 they changed to an aluminum condensor. Yours must be steel?

Patrat Does the steering wheel have a chrome 1/2 ring or just the small chrome button?

More brake parts. I'm converting my 64 from drum to disc all the way around. So if anyone wants any parts and or all parts let me know. Everything looks like it has some wear but nothing that would cause me to toss the parts.

Used, 60-63 windshield - out of a 1963 GMC
Hey Guys,

Just putting it out there, if you really need a piece of glass. I just had a new windshield installed in my 63 panel and I have the original glass that came with it. Has a few scratches on the wings and one from the wiper arm as well as a small bubble in the centre of the glass. Moving so only available for the next few days.
The glass is free, but you pay for shipping. I have kept the shipping crate, which is made of wood and cardboard as well as all the packing material. The new glass got to me fine from California. Would like to see some one get some use out of it, if you want it let me know. It may be easier to email me as I see that more often.

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!

Last call for Brake Parts. 64 to 66 Chevy. Front hubs and all brake related parts for the front. Rear includes everything that was attached to the rear end. Everything goes to the scrap yard next Friday. May not be cost effective to ship but if you or someone you know need parts and are near Dayton, TN I can meet part way. Terry In case you wanted to know why its because I install power assisted discs on all four corners.

65 fuel tank, mount straps, fuel line

Just got the in cab tank out.

I have the mounting straps, most of the padding between strap and tank and the tank without filler part.

Also have a drum brake master cylinder

If the brake cylinder happens to be a dual reservoir, I would be interested. Thanks for sharing the parts.
