Okay guys I need your help on this one. I picked up a set of 15x10 rims at the swap meet. Great find and a great price! But they got a coat of paint on them that needs to come off. I need to tried and true way to get the paint off of these other than sandblasting. I'm looking for a good chemical stripper. I used oven cleaner already and all that did was clean them

Check the reviews. It works. Since you are doing wheels, I would apply and bag, so it doesn't dry out. Let it sit and then get to work. Repeat as necessary. |

^ That's what I would recommend, as well. In a spray can, it will have paint just running off the surface. Hopefully the formula is the same as when I used it in '97. One never knows how things may change.

Haven't used Kleen Strip ultra on wheels, but does a damm fine job on paint.

I don't remember the brand name I used but aircraft paint remover works great on Paint. It will even remove powder coating, crazy fast.

If I don't sandblast, which is what I always try to do, I strip using a cup brush on the mini-grinder. What the grinder can't get is all I use stripper on
