R the kick panel vent repops any Good?

My kick panel vent seals on my 68 C10 are really worn out so I’m wondering if any one has had any luck with the repops out there? I found the at OER. Please let me know. Thx

Re: R the kick panel vent repops any Good?

I bought the repops for my 1968 and they don't fit, because my truck has the 67 style vent handles. They are not the round knob like the repops have. I would have had to drill more holes in my kickpanel to make them work.

I think the new seals are the way to go, just drill out the rivets and rivet them back together.

Just replace the seals on your original doors.

Post 232 in link has a quick description of how I did mine.

There are several threads about alternatives to buying the $4.00 seals from Classic like I did. Do a search for vent seal replacement.
