With these Drop trailing arms. If I were to buy them and a 6" drop coil for the rear. That is a 8" drop for the rear. Am I going to have to notch? Pinion angle? 70 swb truck I am building.

A) Correct.
B) At the minimum.
C) Would still be acceptable. Could be on the edge if forward drivetrain components are not ideal. It's always a good idea to verify & correct w/shims if needed.

C) I'm wanting to do a 5.3L.

Also on doing the drop. cpp spindles are 2" and coil is 2.5 and rear coil is a 6". Reason being on using Nathans drop trailing arms, is to get rid of the rake. Or will I have a rake at 4.5/6?

I might have missed this...but do you make the arms longer or space the mounts on your crossmember to center back the rear in the rear wheelwell, or just have the person drill new holes further back if they want to...?

Drilling the new holes will be the easiest solution. This will allow the rear axle center-line to be moved wherever one desires.

I chose spacers because you can change your mind & adjust as needed (not that I have a commitment problem ).

Since I'm already way over budget, I'm gonna work with what I have...

I assume moving the crossmember back the necessary 1 1 1/4" will affect the carrier bearing mounting? (2pc driveshaft)

The necessary distance to center the rear wheels in the wheel well will depend on how low you are wanting to go. It will be anywhere from 1" to 1.5" depending on preference.... and depending if you want the wheels centered at ride height, or when deflated. Careful measuring will allow one to set it up just how they want!

I also build trailing arms that are extended behind the bag mount in order to move the center-line back... all I need to know is how far one wants them extended (normally 1.25"). I am also building them with a 3" drop.
