If my State will allow her registration, the old lady will become my home. I want something small and portable.

Outstanding! Also, thank you for posting that. It reminded me I have to take a close look at my front end. Some disturbing clunks have developed when turning the wheel.

I LOVE your master cylinder! I've been looking into converting mine into a dual pot.

In the morning I got a scoop of DG for landscaping, then later I went to Home Depot for lumber and when I came out I saw 3 old Chevy's parked together. Still on the road!

Wish my paint was as pretty as yours! But then the old man wouldn't be able to work so hard because I'd be afraid of the paint. I could possibly suffer with that...

I took a trip back in October. Picked up yet another member for my fleet of "decrepit old trailers". She has lived in Ocean Shores Wa. since the early sixties. Situated so close to the sea caused her frame and running gear to basically dissolve. Hence I had to jack her up and set the old gal on another trailer for the trip home. Six hundred fifty miles later and $350 in gas we were in Oak Run California.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

Nice score on the Spartan Studeclunker! How is the inside? Leaker? Wish you were a few thousand miles closer to Michigan. My ex-ladyfriend and I found a nice Spartan in northern Michigan for 75 bucks but someone had dragged it out in the middle of a field and took the tires and wheels off. It sat there for 40+ years . It was stacked almost to the ceiling full of old clothes and when we started to clean it out discovered it was infested with SNAKES !!! We gave up on it after that which was too bad because it was complete and original only missing the stove.

Ah Michigan! My mother grew up a few miles north of Traverse City. The Heimforths were pioneer settlers in the area.

Didn't leak till I moved it. However I think it will be an easy fix. Interior is beautiful, complete and fully functional!

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

Pretty country up there by Traverse City. We hated to give up on the Spartan. Sold it to the guy who deals in vintage trailers in Peru, Indiana.Took a lot of digging and an F 450 with a winch to get it moved. We did discover that snake powder works pretty good. Turns out it was kind of connected with a murder also. Kinda creepy, think we would've had to sell it anyway.

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

I drove 90 miles (round trip) to pick up a "new" hood for my '65

It has been tied up to a fence for the past ten years or so...

Re: What did you do WITH your truck today?

A little late post to this thread since I was down for almost all of Feb. with the flu. At the end of Jan. I brought the C10 to the Grand National Roadster Show on a last-minute replacement waitlist entry.

I even ran into Brian Stoner, who pinstriped my truck
