What condition is the rest of the truck in? My doors are sagging a bit but I suspect is is due to the rust in the cab supports, rocker panels and cab corners. I think the whole thing is sagging a bit.

First, make sure your hinges aren't worn. Open the door and try to lift it up and down on it and look for any movement. There should be none. Any movement, replace hinge(s).

If they are tight, the door adjustment is done at the hinges. To move the door forward or back, loosen bolts that go from hinge to cab. A bit tough to get at some but it is possible. To move door inward or outward, that adjustment is done by loosening the bolts that go from hinge to door.

When doing adjustments, a little goes a long way so move in small amounts. After the door is positioned properly in the door opening, you may have to adjust the rear striker plate. Loosen the 4 bolts and move around until door shuts properly. (this part moves up, down, in and out)

Take your time and have patience. Sometimes you get it right away, sometimes you don't.

Whats the best thing to do about a little rust on the bottom of the doors ? Clean break off then prime and paint?
