Question Hello, and I need some help please.

Hello, I am new to this forum and so far I seem to enjoy it. I have a question that I would like some information on. I am needing to know what year are the factory hubcaps that have the 5 fake lug nuts around the outside of the hub, with a cap attachment in the center with the chevrolet bowtie bolted on. Also what hub caps/wheel covers were available in 1969 and what would be the most likely one used on the C/10 base trucks of that year. Thank you for the site and information in advance.

Hi!
Let me be the first to welcome you to the board from New Jersey! I can help you a little bit on your questions although I am not the "expert"...

The 69+C10's would have "pieplate" or "dogdish" hubcaps like the 4 white ones pictured. They also could have the chrome versions pictured.

The fullwheel covers you mentioned sound like you are talking about the ones for 69+ Cheyenne models(not sure 100%)

The last hubcap pictured is a 68' cap. The 67' is identical with the exception of the cap being white instead of silver with the red circle & bowtie, these also were available in chrome. The 67/8 full wheel cap is different than the 69+ cap with it having no "centercap" and the center of the cap is painted(black or gray I think...)

Cruise on over to the message board and intro yourself there. Feel free to post this question over there as you may get a better response and a more detailed one too...

Welcome from Central VA, I can't add anything that hasn't already been said on the hubcaps.

Thanks so much for the time to explain with the photos and all. That is what I thought they came as but I was'nt sure. I have posted the question in the general and I am sure that everyone will agree. Thank you again.
