Start by checking the temp sending unit on the intake manifold. If that's off, the ECM will not know how much fuel to send in. Specs are here:http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=425788

TPS could be it but you'll need a scan tool to see the voltage.

Your best bet is to get a scan tool that you can see the data the ECM is seeing. Something is not sending the correct data to the ECM.

If all the electronic stuff checks out, your EGR valve may have failed: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=549711

You can use a regular voltmeter to check the TPS voltage, you just have to probe the wires. Did you check for codes?
