1949 chevy truck ignition switch

What is the best ignition switch for an in dash switch for a ls 5.3 swap ?

Are you rewiring the truck?. I used American autowire harness for the truck side..it came with a really nice dash switch.. but you can get a universal key switch at oreillys as well
The only thing needed from the switch for the LS is switch on power to the ecm, the starter wire routes the same as any other engine, from switch to nss to starter solenoid

Thanks I will be rewiring truck and will us aaw harness for now just need switch to see if engine will run. thanks. What kit from aaw did you use ?

Just note. The ECM needs 12 volts in the start and run positions. Also the ECM needs a constant 12 volts. Two separate wires.

Any one have a 2005 ignition switch ls swap wiring diagram. Harness has been modified with Brandons web site. Thanks
