Question This cant be right!

I replaced my rear shoes, hardware and drums a few weeks ago. I had a lot of drag and when it came apart the drums had 2 1/4'' wide 1/4 '' deep grouves worn in them. Still I feel a drag in the rear so for shi#'s and giggles I chocked the front, raised the rear and put the truck in reverse. my drivers tire moves and the pass just flexes. Same thing in drive, the drivers side moves and the pass side flexes. This cant be right! I have floating axels(pain in the a$$) if that may help. Have any of you experienced this? Could it be a brake problem or could there be something wrong with the rear end? If you could please help that would be great.
Thanks,
Mario
