Re: blazer?

Yeah, the tops can be removed. Many guys here go topless much of the year. You can also remove a full top up the the 1975 blazer. After that the top comes off from just behind the front seats.

Re: blazer?

That's what make Blazers soooo cool. There are Blazer half tops also, makes them look like a real short p/u.

Re: blazer?

You can't find them because most of them were either beat to death on the trail or have rusted into the ground.

Re: blazer?

There are a few 2wds (very few). The c10 frames are a little longer and will not work without a lot of work but you can use the front suspension to convert to 2wd

Re: blazer?

There's fairly regular posts in the "2wd Blazer/Jimmy find" thread, I'll bet there's prolly 2-3 times as many 2wd Blazers for sale as were produced(conversions from 4x4).

Re: blazer?

The short bed sounds like a nice project. If you look for Blazers, look at the vin#. That will tell you what it is, or was.
Nothing wrong with a conversion as long as it was done right.
