My sending unit does not exist.

87 v2500. 6.2. long bed. Single DS tank. 2 outlets. I have looked everywhere and can only find 3 outlets for diesel applications. Do I have an oddball year or what is going on? Thanks for any insight.

Re: My sending unit does not exist.

Just dealt with this on a van. You can cap or plug the 3rd outlet. In the van’s case the 3 outlet sender fit the same tank opening as the 2 outlet, same lock ring and all.

Re: My sending unit does not exist.

I just found two 2 outlet sending units by looking up an older C10. I used 1985 C10 with the 6.2 diesel and came up with these on Rockauto.
