Re: 68’ GMC frame off build

Been cranking away on the interior. Tach dash, radio delete, pretty much all of the rest of the interior parts are out of the 70’ parts truck.

Re: 68’ GMC frame off build

I ordered parchment replacement covers for my Buddy Buckets. But It’s been 7 weeks and still no idea when they’ll be in.

So I bought some spray dye for vinyl/fabrics. And I am pleasantly surprised with the results, it’s only temporary but it’ll do.

Couldn’t put purple seats in a yellow truck! It’s not the 90’s

Just FYI I ordered my buddy covers from the same supplier in Aug and got them in late Dec. I’m not sure what the hold up was but he did tell me 6-8 weeks when I ordered.

I remember.
Last I talked to him, he had already expected them to be here. So he had no idea when they’d show.

Re: 68’ GMC frame off build

Doors refurbished with a combination of good originals and a few aftermarket parts.

Also vacuumed about 5lbs of crap out of each door.

Re: 68’ GMC frame off build

Moved the truck over to the other side of the shop, had to snap a few pics while she was out in the sun.

I can’t wait to blend the rockers, add the rest of the trim and polish it, I think she’s really gonna pop.

I do think that is a (Huge) Hint.
I would suggest that you hide the keys
And have you thought about a Removable steering Wheel? JK

I think Karsen is staking her claim on this truck by the grin shes wearing. I mean, who can blame her?!
