Anyone switching to DBC from DBW?

I need your gas pedal harness (the one that goes from the pedal to the TAC module)

So you need a dbw harness? Sorry I guess I'm a little confused by the title.

Let me look in the parts shed this weekend Jim, I might just have one for the 2004-05 pedal.

I'm to the point that I want to take the one off my '04 Yukon, and tell my wife that something happened to the Yukon, and it needs this new cable that costs $130.

I've already hooked up my junkyard DBW pedal to the Yukon, and I know it's the one I need because the remote pedal works! --

No lie!

If you have the GM part number, go to gmpartsdirect.com and see what they sell them for. I would almost bet I will be half.

I haven't made it home yet, I'll let ya know tomorrow.

It's a 15118849 -- $77 gmptsdirect, dealer quoted me $100. I realize it goes against your motto, but I will exhaust all my options before paying $100 for a pretty simple cable

Then get the $77 one!!

I went and looked in the parts shed, can't find it. I'm thinking I might have sold it to another board member. I know I sold him a modified pedal, but wasn't sure if I sent him the harness or not. Guess I did.

I've seen them on ls1tech, ls1truck and other forumss for around $25 or so.

Re: Anyone switching to DBC from DBW?

I ended up buying the $40 AC delco pigtail for the pedal, since my TAC module had a pigtail end in it.

I contacted several salvage yards, and most of them responded with " I won't hack up a wiring harness just for the one wire you need "

Or " I'll sell you the whole wiring harness, and you can cut out the wire you need "

Even though I would explain that this piece isn't even part of the main engine wiring harness.

Oh well, problem solved anyway
