couple ls swap questions

I am in the process of putting a ls1 in my 67 c10 and it will have a fast ez efi on it.
what pedal are you using and cable?
Any suggestions on what length I need?
pics would be great.

Also are people using the 73- motor mounts or 67 ones?
this is the only parts I haven't thought out.

Thanks
phillip

Re: couple ls swap questions

On my '68 I swapped it to the later model ('72 in this case) pedal, bar and cable assembly. Then to get the carb connection right I wound up using a universal Lokar piece for the cable connection. Or by Fast Easy EFI instead of the carb style replacement you mean the wireless/fuel rail/ecm all in one combo that uses a standard efi throttle body?

I tried the ECE mounts that use the later '73 up style mounts but IIRC it left everything too far forward so I wound up using '67-'72 small V8 mounts coupled with standard motor mounts bolted to LS swap plates from TransDapt.

Re: couple ls swap questions

I used dirty dingo mounts that allowed me to use the stock 71 engine mounts

Re: couple ls swap questions

thanks for the info
The fast efi I have setup is like a carb so no fuel rails.

Re: couple ls swap questions

I used the Lokar pedal assembly and one of their cables, for my 68. I have an car intake on mine so I cant help with the length.

I am using factory mounts with conversion plates. (non adjustable)
