I went out for coffee and breakfast early one morning while visiting my mom and found a place to back up to the Youghiogheny River for a tailgate meal

Great looking 'Burban!
Just goes to show you don't need $2000 wheels to make one look good.

Re: Picture Thread: K1500/K2500 Suburbans

Thanks. Glad you appreciate it. I went with the work truck theme... because it is!

I had the wheels on the '92 K3500 the Suburban replaced. I had them painted the same color as stock on the pickup, but decided to match the grille on the Suburban Cheyenne. I repainted the grille with same paint. Maybe a tad darker than stock

Here's my Suburban, a 93 with a 454. It was a one owner from central California so it's very rust free and clean.

Re: Picture Thread: K1500/K2500 Suburbans

Those pics were from 2018 so here's a few recent ones with slightly larger tires on it. This is my daily driver so the recent gas prices have made it painful, but my commute to work is short thankfully.

Also it was lacking power recently under load, but the cat so happened to "fall off" and its much better now.

Very sharp. Great color on that. I can relate to the "Suburban does anything you need but get good MPG" song. Been singing it all summer. Hundred dollar bills have been disappearing faster. My $50-60 round trip visit to my mom or sister turned into $100. I just need another vehicle for those trips

I just went through the entire thread (7 3/4 yr thread/2nd page ). Although I've known and talked about your Suburban here, I just want to say Nice find! in this original post. How do you like it now?

Here's mine on the job this week and one from another job a few weeks ago. We used to laugh at the old handyman guys coming around the neighborhoods looking for work in their old station wagons. Look at me now!

And a few pics from the past year I liked. I had something cut a tire bad last fall and that last picture shows 285/75-16s on 8" Wheel Vintiques steelies. Rubbed bad
