Newer tranny in 60 truck ?

First one of these I have owned it is the 4spd with sep hung transfer how much trouble to put a sm465 and 205 into one of these trucks why you ask I have a wrecker bed that I think on this truck would be really cool and functional as well but the bed is already set up for the later tanny/transfer any insight would be greatly appreciated. For starters the 465 requires a different bell housing. The 465 has 5.xx dia. snout on the input shaft vs. 4.xx for the 420. Next were is your emergency brake lever located? If it is on the floor you may have problems finding a 465 with the emergency brake on the drive shaft yoke. I'm looking into that for my 63. Other than that first gear will be higher with the 465.
