Daily driver build

I just purchased this suburban from a friend of mine so i figured i'd make a build thread to help maintain motivation. The concept is very simple. I plan to build a daily driver. I have failed at a couple projects before because the ideas were to big The suburban is already lovered, has disc brakes and mostly new suspension. So I just need to assemble the rest, add some interior, spray flat black and enjoy. Plus it will be a great family cruiser for many years. Im sure some pictures of sucesses and failures are sure to follow so thanks for your help in advance. Also a special thanks to Zellway for the deal and the help.

You know I will help you out as much as I can. I feel bad for giving up on this one but with all the other stuff going on it's for the best.

We need to get rolling on this one. I want to see it on the road by Summer! Think you can pull that off?

Re: Daily driver build

Glad to see another burb getting back on the road, but one note: As I have found out from multiple projects sitting in the drivers seat making vroom vroom noises won't actually propel the truck along. With that, what motor and trans is going in it?

Vary true! Last we talked we are going to pull the motor from one of my trucks for this and install the TH400.

The OP hasn't been on the board since 2013. It would be nice if he would pop back in though....
