LS1 not starting....less fuel pressure ?
Hy all
today it was time to get the engine firing up the first time after the swap. Unfortunately the engine is not running... The fuel pump is running ....also i do have a spark But i am not sure how much fuel pressure the injectors need for proper working ?? At the moment i dont have installed a fuel regulator....so the fuel just goes through the rails and back to the tank....dont know how much fuel pressure i do have ...... The engine does crank strong but there is not even a little firing.. Hope u can help me once again Thx Achim |

I don't think that it will get any pressure to the injectors without a regulator.

unfortunately i just will get the regulator during next week.....that sucks
Tomorrow i gonna check if the pcm is sending a signal to the injectors... CU Achim Quote:

You will have no pressure (or at least nowhere near enough) without the regulator. You can try a bit of starting fluid to see if it will fire off, just don't get carried away with it.

Hy again
in fact the fuel injectors need a specified amount of pressure for working.. I was able to press the return line together so i could reach a bit of fuel pressure...and immediately the engine fired up :-) So i am looking forward to install the fuel pressure regulator and hopefully everything is fine..
