Because every time I do I see everyone`s awesome projects and race ready trucks and I get the itch to race again but my tired 85 GMC SWB is my daily driver and only vehicle and I cant afford the gas to commute in a hot rod. Im planning a mild drivetrain upgrade but nothing to write home about. Need to get a commuter car so I can hot rod the truck more.

Put a mild ls swap in it. Get decent milage and performance.

Id love to and even planned on it but I`ll have to wait until I get another vehicle to drive. This is my only vehicle right now and cant have the down time for the swap.

Sacramento has CTA routes! lol

If you REALLY want to do it, you'll find a way...but I can't fault ya for it being a hard situation. When I bought my '66 and started the build, I had sold my only vehicle, and had to budget another car into the swap hehe.

What is CTA? Is that public transit? Ive never paid attention to them. Nothing wrong with using it but they dont go where I need them. Im a truck driver so Im in industrial areas out of town.

Been looking for a cheap honda again. Gotta get my wife a new car too. Going to be a while before I do any hot rod stuff to my truck but thats ok.
