Leaf to coil rear suspension swap. 1977 C10

I've been reading about how much easier it is to lower and how much better the ride is on coil suspension. I was wondering if there's build thread here someplace that shows step by step on the conversion. Just considering my options before making a dumb decision.

Re: Leaf to coil rear suspension swap. 1977 C10

Are you wanting to do trailing arms like the 60-72 truck? There are two options for that, Porterbuilt an CPP. The factory arm cross member won't fit the square body frame.

I have Porterbuilt kit on order, which I'm using factory arms with along with a factory 71 rear axle. Hopefully it should ship this week but I have a lot of work to do before the install.

This guy also has the Porterbuilt kit.

He's got most of it installed but is in the middle of building a new shop right now. There is an install article of the CPP stuff on there website but no good build/install threads on either setup yet.
