77 C10 with 6700 miles on Hemmings

Just under $16k will net you this thing:

Pretty cool find. Is that hood factory? I know the strange cow-catcher up front isn't, and the rear bumper looks aftermarket as well.

It's funny to see, I remember the guy who I bought my truck from a few years ago was trying to get $16k (it had 17k miles at the time). I think this guy could easily get some more money for this truck if he did a few simple things - pull off the dorky bars in front, yank the yellow fogs, and replace the rear bumper with a factory model.

Anybody know where to get a set of those wheels?

The grill guard I believe is a GM accesory part IIRC...not sure on the rear bumper. Hood looks factory, was an option.

Pretty common for Texas Farmers and Ranchers to have a nice truck that they didn't drive often. They had farm trucks for work, and Momma usually had a sedan to drive. If they went to church or town they took Mommas sedan.

It was a Weekend truck, for taking the Mrs. to Old Country Buffet in.
Lots of older people don't buy anything unless they have the money for it up front, probably people that lived through the depression.

Those are factory rally wheels with the deep trim rings.

It is a nice clean truck . Super nice . It does show a good bit of fading in the grille area especially the emblem. Another small concern I have is what appears to be a good amount of rock chips in front of the rear wheel well opening . The interior looks like a super low mile truck but there are some small concerns I would have paying 15k for a long bed . I imagine it would have a new home already if it were a short bed truck but maybe not at 15-16k.
